Love in my father's eyes

Love in my father's eyes
Originally uploaded by Lady-bug.
My brother John took this picture on my wedding day; back in 1991 of my father and I, and it has been one of my most cherished pictures.
There aren't any other pictures of just my father and I that I'm aware of, but this sweet photo more than makes up for it with his wonderful expression of love.
They say that the eyes are the window to the soul, and I know this to be a fact.

Happy Father's Day, Dad ~ I love you, too. :-)

Sky sight

Sky sight
Originally uploaded by Lady-bug.
I took this shot last Friday on my lunch hour. I thought the clouds were interesting, and it was just one of those shots you don't think will be anything special. After uploading later at home I was staring at it trying to think of a title when I saw the face. To me it looks like a buddhist monk. One never knows who's watching and looking out for you!

Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power. "

I didn't get outside during the work day yesterday, so as soon as Phil and I got home I took off for a walk on the nature trail on the edge of our apartment complex. I know the middle is out of focus, but I just love the detail of the delicate leaves.
