I had a wonderful time in the Berkshires visiting my family for the weekend, and this shot was taken on an outing to Glendale Falls on Sunday.
I took several different shots, but this one was my favorite.

A community of flowers

A community of flowers
Originally uploaded by Lady-bug.
"We are all longing to go home to some place we have never been รข€” a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere, there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power. "

Cupping

Cupping
Originally uploaded by Lady-bug.
I didn't get outside during the work day yesterday, so as soon as Phil and I got home I took off for a walk on the nature trail on the edge of our apartment complex. I was treated to a symphony of birds and many beautiful buds and blossoms. I took many photos, and this was one of my favorites. I know the middle is out of focus, but I just love the detail of the delicate leaves.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! :-)

At my old job he worked in the lobby of the building I was in at the time. Around the time I got my new job a month ago, he was promoted and moved to the building where I work now. :-)
