This is my submission for this week's Photo Friday challenge: fancy
"No one person can wear all the hats all the time."

I used to only take photos, but now I'm writing down the random stuff that pops in my head. Mostly it's stuff about living and working in Boston/Cambridge.

Pink street
A small street near where my husband and I park for work has these beautiful (cherry?) trees that I enjoy seeing every spring. When the blossoms all fall off the whole street is covered with pink petals.

Mirror image
Here is another view of the John Hancock tower from my walk on Tuesday at lunch. There are so many photographs out there of Trinity Church reflecting in this building, so it's not really that original. I was happy how it came out nonetheless.
It's Friday and I'm having lunch today with two wonderful women that I haven't seen in a long time. I'm hoping that they'll let me take their picture.
Have a great weekend! :-)

Buildings in a building
I spent most of my lunch hour yesterday taking pictures around Copley Square. Here's a shot of the bottom of the John Hancock building, where several other buildings can be seen reflecting onto it.

Putting a face on
"People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within."

Green miracle
"People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle."

You may be a nut . . .
. . . but you have a big heart!
This was found on the grounds of the War Memorial II Park in West Bridgewater over the weekend. Phil and I enjoyed the nice weather and took many photos.

Pink and Gold
Here is another view of Lake Nippenicket ("The Nip") in Bridgewater. I got these shots along the side of a busy road. I parked in a little lot marked "park at your own risk", crossed the street when it was safe to do so, and pointed the camera through a chain-link fence. This one came out crooked, so I had to do some fixing in Photo-shop.

Pink Sky at Night
Taken last night at Lake Nippenicket (known as "The Nip") in Bridgewater. The Native Americans named it as the place where the Great Spirits dwell.

Chiondoxa Flowers ("Glory of the Snow")
