I used to only take photos, but now I'm writing down the random stuff that pops in my head. Mostly it's stuff about living and working in Boston/Cambridge.
“What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.”
~Crowfoot, Native American warrior and orator (1821-1890)
This is Lexi, the young donkey who was so eager to steal kisses (see "Gimme a Kiss" picture from last Sunday). She and I wish everyone a lovely Furry Friday, and a wonderful weekend!
Here's another view of the land surrounding "The Green Barn". These shots were taken from a little church parking lot in Lenox, Mass. I've always admired the view of the Berkshire mountains from this little spot.
"I suppose the pleasure of country life lies really in the eternally renewed evidences of the determination to live." ~Vita Sackville-West

have to say "goodbye" for awhile to my friends here . . . my hubby is gone to California for the week, so I've decided to take this time to go visit with my family across the state.
I wish you all a wonderful week!
I wish to thank everyone who has visited my site in the past year, especially those kind people who who have left their encouraging comments. I have met some very talented, wonderful people in the photoblogging world, for which I'm extremely grateful. Here is a mosaic of my best shots from 2005. :-)
